Entercom is a group of five Portland radio stations, each with its own target audience. The challenge that Entercom’s sales team faced was communicating the differences of each station to prospective clients. Thus, the Entercom Family Album was born. Each page of the sales kit featured a different station with a “visual portrait” of each station’s typical listener. With the Family Album, Entercom’s clients could more easily understand each station’s demographics and make more targeted media purchases. The sales kit was so effective, that Entercom continued to use it for nearly 10 years.
